According to a 2017 study, the wellness industry is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing with an estimated global worth of 3.7 trillion.  With health and fitness on the rise, the marketplace has seen a plethora of athletic clothing companies as well as nutritionally conscious snacks emerge.  Books on healthy eating and wellness are no exception.  With an array of informative options in the marketplace, you are sure to find a book for you.

Little Book of Houseplants and other Greenery by Emma Sibley – This read perfect for anyone looking to bring more plants into their homes and workspace.  Studies have shown plants help improve air quality because they have large surface areas and exchange gases and water with their surroundings, reducing carbon dioxide levels.  A source of green inspiration for small-space gardening, the book features a directory of 60 of the most popular varieties of foliage to own, which takes the guessing out of purchasing the right houseplant.

15 Minute Vegan Comfort Food by Katy Beskow is perfect for the Fall months, offering 100 recipes for comfort classics, sides and bites, sharing with friends, recipes for solo dining, and of course sweets! The book shatters the notion that vegan food is cold and soul-less by showing you how to create inspired comfort foods, whether you are vegan or not.  An added bonus is that recipes are 15 minutes!

The Complete Guide to Adaptogens by Agatha Noveille is a comprehensive and informative guide into the world of adaptogenic herbs, which are a class of herbs that help improve the body’s reactions to emotional or physical stress and fight the effects of chronic stress, all while increasing energy, stamina, mental clarity, etc.  In the book, Noveille breaks down the benefits of 24 herbs and provides 75 simple recipes that aid specific wellness categories like sleep, focus, and energy.  This book was a great guide to learning how herbs and simple remedies can be used to bring the body to wellness.
